In front of the Czech Republic, the opposite Alan was the highest scorer in Brazil, with 12 points (10 attack, one blocking and one withdrawal).
“The team prepared very well, with the high guard after a tense debut against China, which played very well. The Czech Republic had made a great match against Serbia, is a well -run team, with experienced players, but we had little knowledge of their team. I think the team was brilliant in the execution of what was planned,” said coach Bernardinho after the victory.
In his last commitment for the first phase of the competition, the Brazilian team measures forces with Serbia from 23h (Brasília time) next Wednesday (17).
