In the individual final, I was the first to compete and I had a very good series. With that note, I already expected that I could get a medal. I was already very happy to have finished the test feeling good, with a good grade. The gold medal was a complete achievement”, declared Camilla Gomes.
For the coordinator of the Brazilian Trampoline Gymnastics team, Tatiana Figueiredo, the achievements are a milestone for the modality in Brazil: “These are extremely important achievements, because they prove that our athletes have the potential to go far, achieving excellent results. Coaches and referees from other countries congratulated us on the results. It is very important to have this international recognition for the next international competitions”.
