The Brazilian authorities reported the seizure of 380 kilos of marijuana in an aircraft from Venezuela and was intercepted by fighters of the Air Force on Wednesday, September 10, after it invaded Brazil’s airspace, official sources reported Thursday.
The drug was found inside the aircraft in a jungle region of the Amazon municipality of President Figueiredo, where the pilot made an emergency landing after refusing to obey the instructions of the Brazilian Air Force to go to a nearby track.
The Bimotor, of model Beechcraft 58 Baron, was identified by the radars when he invaded the airspace of Brazil, from Venezuela, so the Brazilian Air Force determined the shipment of two A-29 super tucano fighters for its interception and monitoring.

The pilot, however, refused to obey the determinations of the military to go to a nearby track and fly over the Amazon at a height close to the treetops before attempting an aquate in the waters of a dam.
