Brazil has 12,600 new infections by covid-19 in 24 hours

Today’s bulletin (15) from the Ministry of Health informs that Brazil recorded eight deaths from covid-19, in 24 hours, and 2,073 new cases.Brazil registers 2,073 new cases of covid-19 in 24 hours

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Brazil has confirmed 34,923,127 cases of covid-19 in the country, with 688,702 deaths. The country recorded 34,130,942 recovery events. There are currently 103,483 infected patients being monitored.

The numbers are partial, as the Health Secretariats of 11 units of the federation did not forward the update of data on the disease: Bahia, Federal District, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio Grande do South, Roraima, São Paulo and Tocantins.

Considering the data available so far, São Paulo records the highest number of deaths from covid-19 (175,851), followed by Rio de Janeiro (75,911) and Minas Gerais (63,897). The lowest number of deaths (2,029) is from Acre.
