The numbers are generally lower on Sundays, Mondays and the days following holidays due to the reduction of teams to feed the data. On Tuesdays and two days after public holidays, there are usually more daily records due to the accumulation of updated data.
States
According to the balance of the Ministry of Health, at the top of the ranking of states with the most deaths from covid-19 recorded so far are São Paulo (164,523), Rio de Janeiro (71,774), Minas Gerais (59,643), Paraná (42,290) and Rio Grande do Sul (38,259).
The states with the fewest deaths resulting from the pandemic are Acre (1,971), Amapá (2,102), Roraima (2,134), Tocantins (4,106) and Sergipe (6,247). The numbers are still without data from the Federal District, Mato Grosso, Rio Grande do Sul and Tocantins, which did not update data this Sunday.
Vaccination
To date, more than 460 million vaccines against covid-19 have been distributed to all states and the Federal District. According to the ministry, vaccination coverage already exceeds 90% of the population over 12 years of age with the first dose and 83% of this same public with the complete vaccination schedule or a single dose. More than 53 million people have already taken the booster dose, given four months after the second dose.
