Since the beginning of the pandemic, Brazil has recorded 657,205 deaths from covid-19, as shown in the epidemiological bulletin released today (20), at 5 pm, by the Ministry of Health. The total number of confirmed cases of the disease reached 29,630,484.
In 24 hours, 13,218 new cases were recorded. In the same period, 103 deaths of SARS-CoV-2 victims were confirmed. The bulletin also indicates that 28,187,8353 people have recovered from the disease and 785,926 are still being monitored.
States
São Paulo has the highest number of cases, with 5,182,658, followed by Minas Gerais, with 3,296,877 records, and Paraná with 2,396,983. Acre is the state with the lowest number of cases. There, there are 123,669. Before that, Roraima appears, with 154,827 cases and Amapá, 160,260 records.
São Paulo also has the highest number of deaths. The state recorded 166,658 victims of covid-19, followed by Rio de Janeiro with 72,495 and Minas Gerais with 60,560. The lowest numbers of deaths are in Acre with 1,990 and in Roraima 2,144.
