Moments after defining the Brazilian team’s group for the World Cup, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed, this Friday (5), that Brazil will play friendlies against France and Croatia. The matches will be played in March 2026, in the United States. Dates and stadiums have not yet been defined.
The expectation is that in the call-up for friendlies against European teams, Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti will call a group very close to the one he will take to the 2026 World Cup, which will be played in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
This Friday, at the Kennedy Center, in Washington (United States), FIFA drew the groups for the 2026 World Cup. And it was decided that Brazil will face off in the first phase of the competition with Morocco, Scotland and Haiti. The debut of the team led by Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti will be on June 13th, against the Moroccans, at a location yet to be defined.
