The projection – prepared by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) – takes into account the growth of the economy and the job market.

According to the Industrial Work Map, among the areas and professions that will require the most qualification are: logistics and transport, construction, industrial operations, maintenance and repair and metal mechanics.

The 2.2 million workers with new training must meet the pace of job creation and the replacement of workers who will leave the formal job market. Another 11.8 million employees will need training and development to update their skills in the roles they already perform in the industry and which are also demanded by other sectors in Brazil.
