Brazil met its opponents in the Women’s XV Rugby World Cup, which will be played between August 22 and September 27, 2025 in England. The draw held this Thursday (17) placed the Brazilian team in Group D of the competition, alongside South Africa, France and Italy.
“The seedings are very even, and France is one of the strongest teams in the competition. Italy has a fast team that will force us to play at a faster pace. And South Africa has an aggressive, vertical and physical style of play, with very strong athletes. It will be an unprecedented and very good experience for the Yaras”, declared Brazil’s coach, Uruguayan Emiliano Caffera.
The XV Rugby World Cup will feature the participation of 16 teams, which are divided into four groups: Group A (England, Australia, USA and Samoa), Group B (Canada, Scotland, Wales and Fiji), Group C (New Zealand, Ireland, Japan and Spain) and Group D (France, Italy, South Africa and Brazil).
