The Brazilian men’s basketball team defeated Uruguay by 85 to 66, on the night of this Friday (25) at the Pedrocão gymnasium, in Franca (São Paulo), for the qualifiers for the World Cup of the modality, which will be played in 2023 at the Japan, the Philippines and Indonesia.

This was the third triumph of the team led by coach Gustavo De Conti in the competition. With 100% success, Brazil leads Group B. The highlights of the team in the match were Vitor Benite and Léo Meindl, each with 13 points.
Brazil will play again next Monday (28), against Colombia, starting at 8 pm (Brasilia time).
