Brazil secured qualification for the 2025 edition of Americup, the men’s basketball Copa América, after defeating Uruguay 71-65, on Thursday night (21) at Ginásio Mangueirinho, in Belém, Pará.

The Brazilian highlights in the match were forwards Bruno Caboclo (who contributed 21 points and 11 rebounds) and Mãozinha (who scored 16 points and added 9 rebounds).
After the three victories in their three initial matches in the Americup Qualifiers, Brazil will return to action next Sunday (24), when they face Panama at 8pm (Brasília time), again at Mangueirinho.
The 2025 edition of the men’s basketball Copa América will be played in August in Nicaragua.
