The list of 23 called up, announced this Friday in Rio de Janeiro, also includes the presence of the Barça attacker Raphinhaand the forwards Igor Jesus and Luiz Henriquewho have stood out in the campaigns with which Botafogo leads the Brazilian Championship and qualified for the semifinals in the Copa Libertadores. The 17-year promise falls from the previous call EstevaoPalmeiras forward and already committed to English club Chelsea, who is recovering from an injury.
In the new list it is not found again Neymara Saudi Al-Hilal player who is still sidelined due to his serious knee injury and with no plans to return to the field, as well as the exclusion of Peterfrom Flamengo, who was Brazil’s hope in attack but suffered the same injury.
Brazil, in fifth place in the South American qualifying classification, will visit Chili next October 10 in Santiago and five days later he will receive Peru in Brasilia.
