Brawl in a women’s prison in Honduras leaves 41 dead

A brawl in the Támara women’s prison, located in the department of Francisco Morazán, Honduras, left at least 41 dead.

The first reports indicate that of the deceased women, 25 were burned and another 16 shot.

Before the fire, the authorities had reported “vandalism” inside the prison, which sparked the flames.
