Brasilia’s 65th birthday brings free schedules at Esplanada dos Ministries this Sunday (20) and also on this Monday (21). The event has songs of different styles, children’s spaces and giant wheel. The stage and the entire structure were mounted on the central lawn. A novelty is that public transport is also free throughout the period.
Today, the eve of the city’s birthday, the stage will have names of Brazilian Popular Music (MPB), such as Fagner, from 18:30, and then the “Great Meeting”, with Alceu Valença, Elba Ramalho and Geraldo Azevedo, at 20:30. The singer Mari Fernandez will perform at 22h. A light show produced from drones will be held at 11:50 pm.
On birthday, tomorrow (21), the performances start at 11am with gospel show by Eli Soares. Then, at 14h, children’s pieces and recreational activities are scheduled. Following, pagoda and forró shows, with twelve by eight (15h50), Leon Correia (at 17:30), and less is more (at 19h).
In the last shows of the night, the stage will have the pairs Bruno César and Rodrigo (at 21h) and then Zé Neto and Cristiano (at 23:30). A pyrotechnic show is scheduled for midnight. The programming ends at 2am.
Museum Programming
In these festival days, the Brasilia Art Museum (MAB) also has a special program in honor of the city.
This Sunday and Monday, will be held, from 10:30 am, presentation of Light Theater and Shadow for children (stories of Brasilia). In the afternoon, at 2:30 pm, a Museum Walk will be promoted to the lake waterfront. Then, at 4:30 pm, the schedule is from a workshop to inspire the production of models.
