The people of Brasilia experience a day of relief this Monday. After a historic 167-day drought, the biggest since 1963it rains in several parts of the capital, the Federal District and the surrounding area.
In some places, after the rain accompanied by strong winds, trees and poles fell, interrupting the electricity supply.
THE National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) I was already predicting isolated rain showers starting this afternoon. The same forecast remains for the next few days due to the convergence of humidity in the central portion of Brazil.
In the Federal District, there is also a forecast of a decrease in the maximum temperature, which reached 35º C this Monday, but by Friday it drops to 30º.
The minimum humidity tends to rise from 30% to 40%. The maximum goes from 70% to 85% throughout the week.
Inmet warns, however, that the heat will continue and asks the population to pay attention to gusts of wind and the possibility of hailstorms.
