“Living with dignity is a human right”, this is the theme of the 14th Cinema and Human Rights Exhibition, which takes place in 27 cities, until November 30th. The idea is to promote dialogue on topics such as equality, social justice and respect for diversity. And it’s free. Each of the local productions will be led by teacher-producers from federal educational institutions.
The exhibition features more than 20 films in its program, including shorts and feature films, as well as children’s sessions and mediated debates with guests. The promotion is from the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship.
Among the selected films, the highlight is productions that address themes such as identity, social justice, inclusion and human rights.
In Brasília, the festival will open this Wednesday (20), at Cine Brasília, at seven o’clock at night, with a cultural presentation and the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship, and this edition’s honoree, the editor Cristina Amaral. The exhibition will be on display until next Saturday, the 23rd, in the federal capital.
