The São Paulo club went to ten points and appears, provisionally, in 11th place. Goiás have one point less and are in 15th place. Both can be overtaken in the sequence of the round.

The confrontation served as a preview of the meeting between them this Tuesday (31), at 21:30 (Brasília time), at the Nabi Abi Chedid Stadium, in Bragança Paulista (SP), for the third phase of the Copa do Brasil. In the first leg, on April 20, Bragantino won 2-1 at Serrinha and has the advantage of a draw to qualify for the round of 16.

Massa Bruta took the lead in the 39th minute of the opening stage, with a cross submission by Arthur. The tie came in the 28th minute of the second half, with fellow striker Nicolas, volleying, after a hit in the area. In stoppage time, Eric Ramires, from Bragantino, was sent off for hitting midfielder Luan Dias in the head, after intervention by the video referee (VAR) – the midfielder had originally received a yellow card.

For the Brasileiro, the Paulistas will play again on the 5th, at home, against Internacional, at 19h. On the 6th, at 20:00, Goiás takes on Botafogo at the Nilton Santos Stadium, in Rio de Janeiro.
