The 15th edition of the Brasil Game Show (BGS) 2024 began this Thursday (10th) at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo. There are more than 400 stands from major brands in the digital electronic games market and the presence of 3,000 influencers in the segment. The event continues until Sunday (13), with programming that includes eSports championships, musical shows, international guests, game launches and testing of new games.
The organization’s expectation is that this edition will be the biggest ever. Around 2 million people have already attended the event, held since 2009.
According to information from the organizers, “BGS has an essentially gamer DNA and is a fair unlike anything else in the segment. Each edition presents more attractions for the public to have fun with thousands of stations, whether arcade machines, mobile platforms, PCs, virtual reality glasses, consoles, board games, card games or any other way of playing.”
Even with the absence of the two largest game console manufacturers on the market, Xbox and Playstation, the meeting is one of the great references in the gaming universe, providing an opportunity for participants to discover games that should only be released in the coming months.
Ticket prices range from R$199 (valid for one day) to the passport box option, for R$3,999, which offers early access options to the spaces, the main arena box and the right to a kit. But there are promotions for half price for those who donate a kilo of non-perishable food, for seniors over 60, people with disabilities and students with their original ID card.
