A motorcycle taxi driver was the one who noticed the victim and took him in his vehicle to the Las Mercedes Hospital in this town, where he unfortunately died. This was due to the bullet having hit his heart.

According to initial reports, the victim had gone to withdraw money from a bank to pay the workers of a fishing company in Paita, but was intercepted by individuals who fired shots and hit Cango, who then died in the aforementioned hospital.

In response to this, the residents demanded greater security from the authorities because the level of insecurity continues to grow. They also expect that they carry out constant operations together with representatives of the Public Ministry in various sectors.
