In a match that was broadcast live from TV Brazil, Bragantino defeated Flamengo 2-0, this Saturday (19), at the opening of the sixth round of the Brazilian Women’s A1 Championship. Thayslane scored the team’s two goals at the Braga Performance and Development Center in Atibaia. With the result, Bragantinas interrupted a sequence of three games without victory and went to eight points. Flamengo suffered the second consecutive defeat and parked at seven points, being overtaken by the opponent himself.
The most important moves of the match took place in the first half. At 11 minutes, after a corner kick from the right, the ball was left to Thayslane inside the area. She kicked hard, on top of goalkeeper Vivi Holzel, who touched the ball but not with the firmness needed to push her away and she ended up entering.
At 41, the second goal had another plot between the two athletes. Bragantino pressed the ball from Flamengo, and lived out of the goal, ended up leaving the ball with Thayslane, who covered it and scored the second goal.
In the final moments of the first stage, Valeria was launched at speed and won from defender Debora, who stopped the opponent. As the Flamengo player left the goal without further obstacles, the defender was expelled.
In the second half, with an extra athlete on the field, Flamengo left up to try to take advantage of numerical superiority. The team attacked a lot and even scored twice with Cristiane, but in both situations the goal was annulled by impediment.
In the next round, both teams take the field on Saturday (26). Bragantino visits Cruzeiro, while Flamengo receives the youth.
