Bragantino and Palmeiras tie with an eye on the playoffs of Paulista

All the same in the duel between the leaders of Groups C and D of the Paulista Championship, already classified to the quarterfinals. The teams went to the field preserving holders and thinking about the next phase, which will have confrontation in a single game, worth a place in the semifinals. Massa Bruta, in first place in Group D, with 20 points, faces Santo André, vice-leader of the same group, this Wednesday (23), at 19:00 (Brasilia time), again in Nabizão.

Owner of the best campaign, both in Group C and in general, Verdão was 30 points behind and faces Ituano in the quarterfinals. The duel will also be on Wednesday, but at 21:35, at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo. Bragantino was better in the first half and took the lead in the 25th minute, with Helinho taking advantage of a rebound from goalkeeper Marcelo Lomba, after finishing off the also striker Sorriso. In the quarterfinals, Alvinegro has Guarani as a rival. Bugre was ahead of Inter de Limeira and Água Santa and secured the second position in the Corinthian group, with 14 points. The duel will be on Thursday (24), at 7 pm, at Neo Química Arena, in São Paulo.
