Washington. Selective operations to detain migrants who are illegally in the United States will begin next week, President-elect Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, said yesterday, indicating that the actions would involve several cities.

Asked by Fox News whether deportation raids would be carried out in several cities, including Chicago, Homan said: I wouldn’t classify them as raids. There are going to be selective law enforcement operations.
