Manfredo Borda is the new municipal secretary of Environment, Public Safety and Supply, confirmed from the Mayor’s Office. He is the successor of Juan Pablo Mazzone, who had taken office on April 28, replacing Ariel Lino.
Borda was working as deputy director of Oversight of the Public Space Ombudsman; previously he held the position of deputy director of Citizen securityand has spent several years in the exercise of municipal public function.
The Mazzone’s work had been observed by neighborswho demanded the use and “subjugation” of public spaces, especially in areas like Villa Primero de Mayo and La Ramada. Another of the observations to which he was the object refers to a license that he requested, at a time when the lack of security cameras in educational infrastructure is being questioned, after several known acts of violence and attacks in schools in the municipality.
