The former Minister of the Interior and senator of the MPP (Broad Front), Eduardo Bonomi, died this Monday due to a cardiorespiratory arrest in Parque del Plata, according to his political sector through social networks.

According to the MPP, one last goodbye will be given to what was his political home for decades and which saw him reach the Senate and the governments of Tabaré Vázquez and José Mujica as Minister of Labor and the Interior.

From 12:30 to 12:30, the farewell begins at the MPP headquarters, at 1368 Mercedes Street, in Montevideo. Then, there will be a State farewell in the Hall of Lost Steps, in the Legislative Palace, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Finally, his remains will be buried in the Diving Cemetery with an intimate ceremony at 6:30 p.m.
