Bombona exploded in Santa Rosalia

The general commander of the Fire Department of Caracas (CBC), Pablo Antonio Palacios, reported on the incident occurred during the night of Saturday, September 20 in a two -story house located in the corner El Muerto, Santa Rosalía parish, Libertador municipality of Caracas, which left an injured woman and material losses.

Palacios explained that the fire began after the explosion of a 10 kg bottle, which severely affected a house of approximately 50 square meters, where an adult woman was injured with burns in several parts of her body.

The CBC troops gave prehospital care to the injured lady, who then transferred to the José María Vargas hospital.

Palacios added that thanks to the rapid intervention of the firefighter, the extinction of the flames to quell the fire was achieved and also challenged a total of eight bombones that were in the affected house.

Authorities recommend prudence in the management of gas buckets to avoid major evils.
