In dialogue with LA FM, the commander of the Military Forces, Admiral Francisco Cubides Granados pointed out that, for several weeks, forceful operations have been maintained in Arauca, where confrontations between the ELN and the FARC dissidents have been recorded.

In this case, the bombing ordered by Petro is focused on neutralizing one of the top leaders of Iván Mordisco’s dissidents.

“Specifically, there is a structure under the command of alias Antonio Medina, which is the object of this operation. There has been a permanent operation of our soldiers, sailors and airmen in the region,” said Admiral Cubides.
