In the midst of the citizen security crisis and in the face of the growing wave of violence, the president of the republic, Dina Boluarte, participates, in Iquitos, in the ceremony of incorporation of the Itinerant Platforms of Social Action -PIAS, Río Ucayali I and II to the Navy War of Peru.
The PIAS are specially enabled vessels, which are operated on an itinerant basis by the Peruvian Navy, to bring State services and programs, in a modular manner, to the rural Amazonian population, where the local or fixed platform does not have coverage or it does it partially.
Boluarte referred to the growing insecurity in the country, with a repetitive speech: “This fight needs us united, because by being one heart and one fist we will defeat the criminal terrorism that wants to take away our peace and tranquility. We never back down in the fight for citizen security and for the peace and quiet that our brothers and sisters demand.”
