The Vice President of the Republic, Dina Boluarteassured that both the Executive Branch and Congress must listen and attend to the demands of the transport and agriculture sectorswho abide by a strike since last week, to find a solution.
“This political crisis affects each and every Peruvian, especially the most vulnerable, generating poverty, uncertainty and frustration. It is up to the Executive, together with Congress, to listen to the demands expressed,” Boluarte said in a tweet.
The also Minister of Development and Social Inclusion called on the different sectors of civil society to collaborate with the measures established by the Government of President Pedro Castillo.

“We call on citizens, social, business and political leaders, to contribute to the agenda of democratic solutions that the government proposes for the country. I call for unity for the country. United for Peru,” he added.
