Two days after his appointment as Minister of Education, the position of Oscar Becerra seems to falter, this due to the constant criticism for its participation in the irregular purchase of laptops at a premium during the second government of Alan García. Between meetings held by Dina Boluarte During this Friday, the presence of characters with a long history in the educational field was noticed, including congressmen Flor Pablo, Karol Paredes and Jorge Marticorena.
But the three legislators are not the only ones who have met with Dina Boluarte. At the meeting, which began at around 12 noon on Friday the 23rd, and with just a few minutes difference, the president was visited by Karol Paredes, Flor Pablo Medina, Jorge Marticorena Mendoza, Bruce Sáenz Cosquillo, Américo Novoa Shuña , Pablo Alfonso López-Chau Nava, Américo Guevara Pérez and Víctor Manuel Franklin Acosta Delgado de la Flor.
The meeting lasted for almost two hours and ended a few minutes before 2:00 pm, when each member of the meeting was leaving the office of the general secretary, where they were summoned with the head of state.

But who are each of these members and why is this meeting in which Becerra’s presence was not recorded important?
In the case of Flor Pablo, who is a congressman of the Integrity and Development bench, there is already a precedent in the educational field, having assumed the portfolio during the administration of former President Martín Vizcarra.
Congresswoman Karol Paredes, from the Popular Action bench, is also a teacher and educator, in addition to being one of the main critics of Becerra’s appointments, about whom she pointed out that “her opinions were worrying.”
Another figure linked to the educational field is Bruce Záenz Cosquillo, who in January of this year repeatedly appeared before Congress as the parliamentary coordinator of public universities. In addition, he claimed to be a representative of Roosevelt University, which is owned by David Jiménez Heredia, a Fuerza Popular congressman.
Besides, was attended by Américo Novoa Shuñaa communicator who in 2015 held the position of adviser I at Sunedu, an entity that has just been weakened by Congress with a law that makes the owners of private entities judges and part of their work.
Another member of this board was Pablo Alfonso López-Chau Nava, an economist who currently serves as rector at the National University of Engineering. Along with him, Américo Guevara Pérez, who is the current rector of the La Molina National Agrarian University, was also invited. Both specialists would be present on behalf of public institutions.
Finally, the presence of Víctor Manuel Franklin Acosta Delgado de la Flor, current member of the Communications Office of the National Superintendence of Higher University Education (Sunedu), was registered.
