The Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro urged his followers on Wednesday to wear the jersey of the national soccer team and vote with it on the elections next sundayin which the current head of state will seek his re-election.
During a live broadcast through your social networks, Bolsonaro criticized that the Electoral Justice is considering banning people from wearing the shirt inside the polling stations, because the colors yellow and green are associated with the president’s campaign.
“Mister Alexandre de Moraes -Head of the Superior Electoral Court- Prohibit the use of the national team jersey? That is interfering too much. Are you afraid of what? Are you worried about the green and yellow sea of people voting?” said the leader of the Brazilian far right.

The president cited that Mendes “was part of that vote thatand ‘condemned’ Lula and the process returned to the first instance” and, according to Bolsonaro, his political rival intends “not to pay the bills of millions” that he would be owing to the treasury and, in addition, “he will enter with a request for compensation against the Brazilian State.”
Lulaadded the president, he seeks “to be compensated for the time he was imprisoned. And you can be sure that all the informers who returned the (diverted) money will ask for that money back with interest and monetary correction,” he ironized.
He also said he felt “ashamed” for having to carry out his program outside the presidential residence after an order from the Electoral Justice that prevents him from using it for that type of broadcast during the campaign.
