The defense of former President Jair Bolsonaro asked on Wednesday (13) from the Supreme Court (STF) acquittal in the criminal case over the coup plot.
The demonstration is in the final allegations that were sent to Minister Alexandre de Moraes, rapporteur of the case. The 15-day deadline for defendants’ lawyers to file their demonstrations ends on Wednesday (13) at 23:59.
The allegations represent the last statement of the defendants before the trial that may condemn or acquit the accused.
In the document, The lawyers maintain that Bolsonaro did not commit acts to promote a coup and reverse the result of the 2022 elections.

Unusual process
