Bolivian state-owned company reduces 30% of natural gas supply to Brazil

Petrobras readjusts natural gas by 19% on Sunday

Petrobras reported today (21) that it has been receiving, throughout the month of May, volumes of natural gas lower than those requested under the contract signed with the Bolivian state-owned YPFB, which is impacting the Brazilian company’s operational planning.Bolivian state-owned company reduces 30% of natural gas supply to Brazil

“Such a reduction of around 30% was not foreseen and implies the need to import additional volumes of liquefied natural gas to meet Petrobras’ supply commitments”, says the note from the Brazilian state-owned company.

Petrobras also informed that it is taking the appropriate measures to fulfill the contract by YPFB.
