Petrobras reported today (21) that it has been receiving, throughout the month of May, volumes of natural gas lower than those requested under the contract signed with the Bolivian state-owned YPFB, which is impacting the Brazilian company’s operational planning.
“Such a reduction of around 30% was not foreseen and implies the need to import additional volumes of liquefied natural gas to meet Petrobras’ supply commitments”, says the note from the Brazilian state-owned company.
Petrobras also informed that it is taking the appropriate measures to fulfill the contract by YPFB.
