Megan González is a 10-year-old girl (03-25-2022) who a few days ago became champion of rhythmic gymnastics of all the western United States, at the regional championship, which was held in San Diego. She is the daughter of a Bolivian mother and an American father and for that reason she has both nationalities.
In the American Western Championship, Megan was the best among 73 girls who were in competition and in the end she had three important achievements: award for the best gymnast of the season in the western United States, universal winner in the west (Grand Champions) and classified to the National Juniors Olympics.
The national championship (Nacional Juniors Olimpics) will be held in June, jointly the best gymnasts of the regional championship thisand there Megan will also try to climb to the top of the podium.
Last year Megan had the opportunity to represent Bolivia in the South American Gymnastics Championship, in Colombia, where at the individual level he achieved a bronze medal and for teams he obtained silver.
He lives in Los Angeles, California, where he is in fourth grade. ANDs sister of Cibelle González, 15 years old, who last weekend in the city of Cochabamba managed to qualify to represent the country in the XIX Bolivarian Games, which will take place between June and July in Valledupar, Colombia.
His parents Alejandra and Héctor González are the ones who motivate Megan and Cibelle to practice gymnastics. Even when there are national championships in Bolivia, qualifiers for international events, they travel from the United States to compete and then return to Los Angeles.
