The director of Zonal Markets of the Municipality of Asunción, Juan Villalba, informed radio 1000 that the Bolivian community installed in Market 4 understood that they had to regularize their situation and immediately began with the steps to get in order.
The person in charge of Market 4 confirmed that already in the same week in which the conflict took place, most of the members of that group of vendors approached the commune and caught up on the documentary procedures.
“In Market 4, along a block and a half of Ana Díaz street, they are already regularized, and we were able to collect, for example, by way of adjudication, more than 39 million, something that had not occurred in the market for years. ”, he highlighted.
He indicated that foreign vendors have been stationed in the area since approximately 1996.
