Bolivian citizen is arrested in Huara when he was caught transporting 10 puppies in backpacks: one was dead

A case of animal abuse was recorded in Huara, Tarapacá region, after an inspection by Carabineros on Route 15-CH when a Bolivian citizen was surprised transporting 10 puppies inside backpacks, one was dead.

The OS-7 of Iquique corresponding to the uniformed police were the ones who discovered a subject transporting several puppies locked in different bags on board a taxi.

When checking the vehicle, the strange noise in the luggage rack caught the attention of the officers, who proceeded to open the vehicle and found 10 puppies of different races and sex. One of them was already dead.

The Bolivian citizen was arrested and his records were handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office. The justice determined his freedom, although he must wait for a citation for the violation of Law 21,020 on Responsible Pet Ownership.
