Fernando Costa, president of the FBF, announced that the Villa Ingenio Municipal Stadium in El Alto will be the scene of the match scheduled for March 25, 2025, corresponding to date 14 of the South American Qualifiers. This match is crucial for Bolivian aspirations in the tournament.
“Within the Always Green program, we communicate that the equipment has arrived to improve the playing fields of the country’s stadiums and we will also do it in Villa Ingenio to play with Uruguay in March,” said Costa.
This improvement seeks to guarantee optimal conditions for players and an attractive spectacle for fans.
The Bolivian team has played all of its Qualifying matches this year at home in Villa Ingenio, achieving victories against Venezuela and Colombia. The third test will be this Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. against Paraguay.
According to the calendar, the FIFA date in March will be held from the 17th to the 25th of the same month. Before receiving the Charrúas, those led by Óscar Villegas will play in Lima against Peru on March 20 or 21. These matches are essential to maintain hopes of qualifying for the World Cup.
Once these matches have been played, three double qualifying dates will remain pending in 2025.
