Bolivia reports 1,119 cases, a record in the fourth wave of the pandemic

Bolivia reported 1,119 cases of coronavirus this Wednesday, a record in the fourth wave of the pandemic that Bolivia is facing. Santa Cruz, the most affected region, detected 603 positives in the last 24 hours.

For its part, Cochabamba identified 144 positives; La Paz, 149; Chuquisaca, 68; Tarija, 79; Potosí, 14; Oruro, 34; Beni, 8 and Pando, 20.

To date, the country has accumulated a total of 526,306 cases and 484,911 patients recovered to date.

Likewise, the death of 13 people has been reported because of the evil and the total number of deaths rises to 19,043.

According to the report of the National Epidemiology Directorate of the Ministry of Health and Sports, the fatality rate of the fourth wave is 0.8%.
