Bolivia registers 832 new cases of Covid-19

This Tuesday 832 people tested positive for Covid-19 and two people died as a result of this disease, the Ministry of Health announced.

The departments of the central axis continue with the highest number of cases; however, a decrease is observed with respect to previous weeks. Santa Cruz presents 245; La Paz, 263 and Cochabamba, 138. In the rest of the departments, infections do not reach a hundred.

To date, 1,210 patients recovered from the disease were registered.

The accumulated number of applied anticovid vaccines totals 14,938,383, of which 6,336,764 correspond to the first dose; 5,126,325, to the second; 998,652 at the single dose; 2,074,863, to the third and 401,779, to the fourth dose.

During the day, the Minister of Health, Jeyson Auza, announced a new regulation that allows the optional use of chinstraps in open spacesa measure that was questioned by doctors in the country, considering that vaccination coverage is insufficient.
