Bolivia registers 776 cases of Covid-19, the majority in Cochabamba and Santa Cruz

The Ministry of Health registered 776 new cases of Covid-19 nationwide on Monday, the majority in Santa Cruz and Cochabamba.

Report 610 shows that Santa Cruz registered 396 infections and Cochabamba 193. In the other regions the distribution of cases was as follows: Tarija, 90; Chuquisaca, 48; La Paz, 30; Beni, nine; Pando, six; Oruro, four; and Potosí did not register infections.

With the 776 positives of this day, the total of confirmed cases to date amounts to 524,261.

This Monday there are 21,909 active cases and in the last 24 hours 779 people overcame the disease and the total number of recovered patients totaled 483,330.

The five deaths confirmed this Monday bring to 19,022 the total number of deaths since the pandemic arrived. In this fourth wave, the fatality rate is 0.8%.
