Bolivia registers 75 cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours

The weekend concluded with the lowest number of patients who were infected with coronavirus, according to data from the Ministry of Health. A total of 75 cases were reported this Sunday nationwide.

Santa Cruz presented the highest number of cases with 32Potosí 26, Cochabamba 13, La Paz two cases, Beni and Pando one case each and closed Chuquisaca, Oruro and Tarija that did not register any new case.

In the case of those recovered, the figure reached 224, with La Paz as the department where more people overcame the virus119 in total, Chuquisaca 79, Santa Cruz 19, Cochabamba 11, Beni and Potosí with two recovered in each region, while Oruro, Tarija and Pando did not record recovered patients.

Thus, the total number of positive cases in 26 months of pandemic it reached 906,221 in all the country. The deceased in that same period of time were 21,943 and those who recovered have already reached 863,889 patients who have overcome the disease.

Rural municipalities are the ones with the most problems when it comes to applying vaccines because in those regions the communal decision that is decided in a town assembly is applied and if in that instance it is decided that there will be no vaccines, no inhabitant goes to the health centers.

While in the capital cities of the country the annulment of the use of the mandatory chinstrap is already being debated. In the seat of government they get worse preparations for the entrance of the Great Power which mobilizes hundreds of thousands of people, the festival is planned for the first week of June.
