The Ministry of Health registered 6,938 cases of Covid-19 nationwide this Wednesday, the highest number of infections was reported in La Paz, with 1,817 positives in the last 24 hours. According to the official report, this Wednesday 54 deaths were recorded.
The report indicates that 1,817 cases were identified in La Paz; Cochabamba, 1,530; Holy Cross, 1,411; Tarija, 613; Chuquisaca, 414; Potosi, 404; Oruro, 357; Panda, 198; Beny, 194.
With the 6,938 positives registered in the last hours, the country has accumulated 835,170 cases since the start of the pandemic.

The report shows that 5,828 people recovered from the virus on this day and the total number of patients who overcame the disease rises to 665,789. While active cases amount to 148,607.
This Wednesday, the number of deaths nationwide was 54, with this figure the total number of deaths reaches 20,774. In this fourth wave, the fatality rate is 0.6%.
