Bolivia registers 60 new Covid-19 infections and 502 people manage to overcome the disease

This Holy Saturday, Bolivia vForgot to register a slight increase in infections by Covid-19, as 60 new cases were confirmed, after 3,130 nasal antigen tests were carried out. Yesterday, Friday, the infected were 52. In addition to the fact that this day, 502 people recovered, according to the report of the Ministry of Health and Sports.

The new infections this Saturday were detected in Santa Cruz with 15 cases, Cochabamba with 14, La Paz with 25 and Tarija with three. Chuquisaca, Oruro and Beni reported one case at a time, while in Pando and Potosí no new cases were registered.

In this way, the accumulated number of people infected by Covid-19 in the country, since the pandemic began in March 2020, reached 903,888, of which 29,769 remain active. While the total number of recovered rose to 852,216, after 502 patients overcame the disease.

The National Directorate of Epidemiology did not regret deaths from complications of the virus in this day, so the total number of deaths remains at 21,903.

Vaccination

The Ministry of Health and Sports, in its daily report also reported that to date 13,227,187 applications doses of Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer, Janssen and Moderna throughout the national territory. Of these, 6,117,803 people received the first dose, 4,851,249 the second, 994,961 the single dose and 1,263,174 the third dose
