This Friday in Bolivia, 5,423 new infections by Covid-19 and 41 deaths from the virus were reported. The report from the Ministry of Health indicates that to date 847,180 accumulated cases have been registered.
The national report indicates that for the third consecutive day the city of La Paz registered a higher number of infections in relation to the other regions: 1,496 positives.
While in Cochabamba 1,202 infected were reported; Holy Cross, 1,200; Tarija, 399; Chuquisaca, 345; Potosi, 327; Oruro, 249; Panda, 148; and Beni, 57.

Official data indicates that on this day 5,969 people recovered from the virus and the total is 676,600. While the active cases add up to 149,715.
This Friday, 41 deaths from the virus were reported, bringing the cumulative death toll to 20,865. The fatality rate in this fourth wave is 0.6%.
