Bolivia registers 1,969 new cases of Covid-19 and 21 people deceased in the last 24 hours

There are 1,969 new Covid-19 infections that Bolivia registered this Thursday, February 10, according to the report of the Ministry of Health and Sports. Santa Cruz continues to be the most affected region. On this day they were 873 people who tested positive for coronavirus in the department of Santa Cruz.

According to the report, the new infections in addition to Santa Cruz are also in La Paz with 429, followed by Cochabamba with 370Oruro (108), Potosí (71), Chuquisaca (53), Beni (51), Pando (40), and Tarija (39).

On the other hand, the report indicates that the patients recovered from the disease reached 3,723. Deaths reached 21 and the cases discarded to 9,612 on this day. The fatality rate so far is 0.6%.

Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 880,891 cases of Covid-19 have been registered in the country to date, of which 743,773 have recovered, indicates the report from the health portfolio.

Regarding mass vaccination, it was reported that to date, the figure of 12,180,886 doses applied nationwide has been reached. Immunizers from Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson are supplied in the country.
