This Wednesday, in the midst of the de-escalation, Bolivia registered 1,783 cases of covid and 20 deaths from the virus.
“The new infections this day are: Santa Cruz, 500; Cochabamba, 378; La Paz, 488; Chuquisaca, 77; Tarija, 107; Potosi, 92; Oruro, 39; Beni, 79 and Pando, 23”, reports a bulletin from the Ministry of Health.
Epidemiological report 696 of this day shows that 3,937 patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged; the total number of patients who beat the virus is 740,050.
The 20 deaths brought the total number of deaths to 21,219 since the pandemic arrived in March 2020.
