Bolivia registers 1,220 new cases of covid and 20 deaths

According to the epidemiological report this Saturday, Bolivia registered 1,220 new cases of Covid-19 nationwide, in addition to the death of 20 people due to the disease. More than half of the infections were reported in Santa Cruz.

“The new infections of this day are: Santa Cruz 725, Cochabamba 63, La Paz 187, Chuquisaca 54, Tarija 66, Potosí 49, Oruro 30, Beni 28 and Pando 18. Similarly, the report of 20 people had to be regretted deceased on this day ”, is indicated in the epidemiological report of the date.

Likewise, it is established that 1,205 patients overcame the disease and were discharged. The registry of recovered patients by department is as follows: 893 in Santa Cruz, 50 in Cochabamba, 138 in La Paz, 25 in Chuquisaca, 45 in Tarija, 40 in Potosí and 14 in Oruro, Beni and Pando did not report recovered patients.

Regarding the vaccination report, it is indicated that to date 9,290,071 doses have been applied between the first, second, third, single-dose doses for adolescents from 12 to 17 years old and for children older than 5 to 11 years old throughout the national territory.

The report considers that 435,439 adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 received the first dose and 246,284 the second. In addition, 90,345 doses were administered to children older than 5 years.
