Bolivia registers 1,059 new cases of COVID-19 and 16 deaths

The Ministry of Health registered 1,059 new cases of Covid-19 nationwide on Tuesday, with that figure the country accumulated 531,428 positives. In addition, 16 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.

The report indicates that four departments account for the highest number of cases: Santa Cruz, 593; Cochabamba, 159; La Paz, 103; and Tarija, 102.

In the other regions, the contagion report was as follows: Chuquisaca, 48; Oruro, 28; Beni, nine; Pando, nine; and Potosí, eight. For this day, active cases total 23,606.

This Tuesday 902 people defeated the virus and the total of patients recovered is 488,726. The 16 deaths registered this Tuesday bring to 19,096 the total number of deaths registered to date.
