Bolivia exceeds 21,000 deaths from covid this Tuesday

The escalation of infections does not stop: the city of La Paz reports 1,550

The Ministry of Health registered 60 deaths on Tuesday and with that figure the total number of people who lost their lives due to the virus totaled 21,011.

On this day, 3,825 new cases of Covid-19 were reported and Bolivia has accumulated 859,530 coronavirus positives to date.

According to the report from the Ministry of Health, La Paz registered the highest number of cases, with 1,065 positives; Holy Cross, 1,055; Cochabamba, 880; Tarija, 210; Chuquisaca, 199; Potosi, 187; Oruro,117; Panda, 58; and Beni, 54.

This Tuesday 4,557 people recovered from the virus and a total of 700,312 patients beat the virus. While active cases remain at 138,207 and the fatality rate in this fourth wave remains at 0.6%.
