The 684 Covid-19 cases registered this Saturday in Bolivia marked the clear decrease in positive cases and, in contrast, the number of recovered reached 1,577 throughout the country.
La Paz was the department where the most cases were presented, 335 in total; Holy Cross 168; Cochabamba 75; Potosi 37; Oruro 29; Chuquisaca 25; tarija 13; Beni two cases and closed Pando, without registered positive cases.
With these figures, the number total number of patients infected with the deadly virus reached 1,099,718; while the number of deaths, to 22,194, in the 29 months that the pandemic has already lasted. This Saturday the number of deaths was three patients.
In the case of the recovered, the figures improved, 1,577 throughout the country. Santa Cruz was the department where the most people overcame the virus, 547 in total, Cochabamba 429, La Paz 261, Oruro 218, Potosí 46, Tarija 28, Pando 25, Chuquisaca 24 and Beni closed, which had no registered recovered cases.
In this way, the cases of people who overcame the disease reached 1,025,086 and there are still 52,438 cases pending recovery.
Likewise, the Government reported that this Saturday the number of cases of monkeypox reached 66 cases in totalwith Santa Cruz as the most affected department with 55 cases, La Paz and Cochabamba have five cases each, Potosí closes with one confirmed case.
