Bolivia detects 354 new infections and mourns one deceased this Friday

The Epidemiological Report 726 of this day realizes that 354 Bolivians were detected with coronavirus. 1,368 patients recovered from covid-19 and one died. 6,737 tests were carried out, so this Friday, March 11 there was 5.2% positivity rate.

The report issued by the National Directorate of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health and Sports, establishes that the National cumulative number of infected patients is 897,098that of recovered is 805,870 and that of deceased is 21,473.

The new infections this day are: Santa Cruz 169, Cochabamba 108, La Paz 38, Chuquisaca 17, Tarija 5, Potosí 5, Oruro 4, Beni 5 and Pando 3.

Vaccination

The vaccination report states that this Friday 25,237 doses were applied and in total, since March 2021, 12,802,736 doses, between the first, second, third, single dose, and booster dose with the Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer, Moderna and Janssen vaccines, throughout the national territory.

Of which 5,998,407 received the first dose of the anticovid vaccine and 4,696,707 of the second were applied; 994,961 for the single dose and 1,112,661 for the third dose.

The total number of vaccines that have arrived in Bolivia is 23,815,500.
